Shopping Inspiration｜ Other Products ｜Boonlorm: Boonlorm Edits (Pocketknife) Vinyl 12"

Deep and heady edits that draw a direct connection between minimal music and techno. The percussion heavy side of modern classical with its heavy rhythmic structures seems to mirror a lot of contemporary electronic music. Brooklyn based Boonlorm digs through the archives and drops four edits that hone in on the techno lurking within the mallets. His sparse drum programming further intensifies the effect, bridging the gap between the sounds of Chicago, Detroit, and the 20th century avant-garde.
